Jake started playing drums at the age of 8 (minus pot and pan playing as a child), playing anything from Rock to Jazz, Latin to Punk, Indie to... well almost anything.

Some of the highlights of Jake's career so far include touring Holland with the South Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra, having master-classes with Billy Cobham and Ian Matthews, reaching the Final of Surface Unsigned, playing the Bristol 02 academy and playing in the Bristol Harbourside Festival, to name but a few important milestones.

After the sad break up of The Fyxx (www.myspace.com/thefyxx)due to University, Jake is currently playing with and TLi (www.myspace.com/tliband) and new Pop-Punk band, Stop No Go (www.myspace.com/stopnogo) and, most recently Cardinals (Indie/Ambient/Progressive).

While playing in these bands, Jake is also studying a Popular Music Performance Degree at Southampton Solent University.
